A. Easily. We will show you how.
Q. Is this voluntary laughter as good as genuine hilarious laughing?
A. This work is founded in the scientifically demonstrated principle that your body doesn't make a distinction between deliberate laughter and involuntary laughter. So long as your willful laughter is done with a playful attitude, you get all the health benefits of genuine laughter. We laugh from having fun, instead of laughing "at" something perceived as funny. (PS: Having fun IS funny.)
Q. Is there real science behind this?
A. The work was developed by Indian physician Dr. Madan Kataria in collaboration with his wife Madhuri, a teacher of traditional Yoga . There is now abundant evidence, both anecdotal and through rigorous scientific testing, which shows that Laughter Yoga provides numerous health benefits, physical as well as psychological.
